FIELD: power distribution. SUBSTANCE: horizontally mounted power switch has tubular case and is provided with attachment flange for horizontal connection of attachment case to respective butt-ends. Operating mechanism is secured on attachment flange in vicinity of case cover of switch. Power switch poles rest on case cover through support insulators and to this end they are made in the form of coupling members joined with operating mechanism. Force of leverage transmission mounted past coupling member is conveyed through deflecting lever installed in respective pole of switch. Internal design of such switch may be used for single- phase encapsulated power switches. EFFECT: reduced space requirement including height gage and locating area. 13 cl, 5 dwg
