SUBSTANCE: proposed disconnecting unit of high-voltage power switch with two contact members coaxially disposed relative to one another to form switching gap is supported by load-bearing component radially enclosing it; disconnecting unit has two sections of which second one is radially extended compared with first one; disposed between both sections is exhaust hole to pass arc-control gas developed during switching process.
EFFECT: reduced resistance of gas flow path between switching gap and exhaust hole to gas flow at high mechanical stability of disconnecting unit.
