FIELD: metallurgy, namely plants for continuous casting. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of controlling roller section having inlet and outlet sides and supporting zone with two roller supports due to adjusting roller supports one relative to another by means of adjustment apparatuses. Each roller support has at least two rollers. Adjustment apparatuses are arranged at inlet and at outlet sides of roller section and they have two systems of hydraulic cylinders mounted at both sides of supporting zone. Roller supports are adjusted by means of systems of hydraulic cylinders in mode of positional control and in mode for controlling by means of pressure. In mode of positional control rollers are approached to metallic blank guided by means of rollers. When pressure in system of hydraulic cylinder reaches admissible value, positional control mode is switched to mode for controlling with use of pressure. EFFECT: possibility for realizing control process without damage of roller section of roller conveyer, elimination of blank bulging. 11 cl, 2 dwg
