FIELD: metallurgical equipment, namely stand structures, for example housing of stands of machines for straightening sheets, strips and shapes. SUBSTANCE: housing of stand includes cross pieces connected with struts, upper and lower straightening rolls mounted with shift one relative to another and resting along their lengths upon backup rollers arranged in said stand. Said rollers are supported by cross traverse bars. At least upper traverse bar is adjustable one for positioning straightening rolls. It provides uniform distribution of load of joint assemblies of housing due to mutual connection of said cross pieces and struts in their vertical butts by means of hollow rods, preferably of different diameter.
