FIELD: waste disposal. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gasification of solid carbon-containing materials, including plastics, and can be applied at chemical industry entertainments and in solid domestic waste processing. Method involves cocurrent-mode supply of disperse raw material. Plasma, and water steam, their mixing, plasma-thermal gasification, and recovering products. More specifically, two-phase stream of disperse raw material and water plasma is oriented to molten pool formed by melting unreacted portion of disperse raw material. Gasification products are withdrawn in countercurrent to incoming two-phase stream and then stirred to form twisted stream. Process is carried out on installation comprising plasma-thermal reactor, double-jet plasmotron, controlled disperse material and steam inlet units and synthesis gas and solids outlet units.
