FIELD: ventilation systems, namely heated air curtains. SUBSTANCE: heated air curtain includes ventilator, heating and dispensing units. Dispensing unit includes air guide with portions having members for forming stream. Heating unit is arranged in housing and it is provided with radiator. Ventilator includes arranged in housing radial blower having electric drive, impeller placed between main and covering discs, suction branch pipe with curvilinear (in meridian cross section) profile, annular casing embracing impeller and having two edges. One edge covers part of blades of impeller by value d being no less than 0.01 of their width h at side of covering disc and it is spaced from said blades by distance d1 being no less than 0.01 of diameter D of impeller. Other edge is arranged over inner surface of covering disc for forming contraction annular gap between inner surfaces of annular casing and covering disc at inlet of impeller. Novelty is heating unit which is connected with suction branch pipe of ventilator. Housing of ventilator has at least one cutout in lateral panel. One edge of cutout contour is shifted to side of main disc but it does not achieve level of edge of annular casing at side of covering disc of impeller. Other edge is arranged between main disc and end surface of ventilator housing. Respective air guide is joined with housing of ventilator along contour of said cutout. EFFECT: lowered level of energy consumption, reduced size of equipment. 14 dwg
