FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed reaction stepping electric motor has non-magnetic frame comprising two parts, flat U-shaped magnetic core carrying pair of similar poles and control winding anchored between parallel butts of these parts, rotor with four identical teeth arranged in pairs, two identical permanent magnets, as minimum, fixing rotor. Some magnets are placed opposite butts of teeth of rotor with lesser angular extent and some magnets are mounted opposite butts of teeth of rotor with larger angular extent. Magnets are manufactured in the form of cylinders with relation of length along axis to diameter lying within limits 1/5-1, magnets are magnetized along axis of cylinder. Non-magnetic gap between butts of magnets and rotor is 5-15 times greater than radial gap between rotor and magnetic core. EFFECT: increased ergonomics of electric motor. 1 cl, 6 dwg
