FIELD: petroleum processing and petrochemistry. SUBSTANCE: initial hydrocarbon feedstock, in presence of hydrogen gas, is brought into contact with silico-alumino-phosphate molecular sieves having intermediate pore size and hydrogenation component to convert at least part of initial feedstock. Al least part of converted feedstock is fed into fractionation column wherein at least part of converted feedstock is separated into fractions to produce at least one head fraction and one base product fraction. At least part of the latter is combined with initial hydrocarbon feedstock. EFFECT: increased yield of desired product or lowered its flow point at the same yield. 10 cl, 1 dwg, 6 tbl
