FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring electric skin conductivity in 24 representative acupuncture points of 12 symmetric meridians and calculated arithmetic mean. Measurement values are transformed to dimensionless units by dividing each measurement by the arithmetic mean. Relations are determined that bind measurement results as top/down, left/right, yin/yang. Knowledge base is built in advance, the knowledge base comprising disease database. The base is built by selecting disease parameters of influence that statistically stable related to a disease and their confidence intervals and calculated values of hypodiagnosis reliabilities (Dhypo) and hyperdiagnosis reliabilities (Dhyper). Confidence intervals being equal to 0.13-1.39 in the point No 2, 0.15-1.52 in the point No 3, 1.07-5.5 in the point No 11, 0.13-0.86 in the point No 14, 0.99-0.93 in the point No 22, yin/yang relations being equal to 0.42-2.43, left/right being equal to 0.5-1.52, top/down being equal to 1.12-1.68, with mean equal to 3.5-66, Dhypo being equal to 0.95, Dhyper being equal to 0.98, changed functional state related to osteochondrosis of lumbosacral vertebral column segment is to be diagnosed. EFFECT: high objectivity level of the obtained results.
