METHOD OF OIL FIELD DEVELOPMENT Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: oil producing industry, particularly, development of oil fields with use of horizontal wells; applicable in development of pools with well movable bottomholes. SUBSTANCE: method includes drilling of field by system of vertical injection and horizontal producing wells with selection of their paths, injection of displacement fluid and oil recovery. Paths of horizontal producing wells are determined by connection of anticipated bottomholes of vertical producing wells by their location in rows. Initial part of horizontal wellbore is located in drawing together zone. Final part of wellbore is located in extreme row of producing wells nearest to injection line. Wellbore is drilled with multiple tapping of pool by wellbore entering and leaving of producing formation. As water front moves in process of development, bottomholes of horizontal producing wells are moved to drawing together zone by stage disconnection of intervals of intersection of producing formations. Method provides for increase of final oil recovery due to multiple tapping of oil pool, reduction of material expenditures for oil production due to reduced drilling of producing well of function of several vertical producing wells and also prolonged service life of horizontal producing wells due to isolation of water-encroached producing intervals without well shutdown.
