METHOD OF SUPPORTING OF UNDERGROUND MINE WORKINGS WITH COMBINED SUPPORT Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

Abstract RU 2215150 C1

FIELD: mining industry; applicable in supporting of mine workings driven in unstable rocks. SUBSTANCE: method includes installation of temporary and permanent supports. In construction of temporary support by bolting, installed into, at least, every other borehole of boreholes drilled over working contour is bolt of temporary support, for instance, of expansion - shell type, whose one end is secured in rock mass beyond design line of breakage face, and the other end is connected, for instance, by clamps with lower part of bolts supporting roof and sides of working at breast. Boreholes over working contour free of bolts are charges with divided explosive charges, and, first, charges of contour row are blasted, and then, loosening charges are blasted to uncover bolts of temporary support under whose protection, blasted muck is hauled, and then, permanent support is installed, for instance, bolting with steel net and application of gunite to working surface. After installation of permanent support, bolts of temporary support may be removed fully or partially. EFFECT: reduced material expenditures and increased rate of driving operations with provision of their safety. 2 cl, 2 dwg
