FIELD: mechanical engineering; turbines. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wet-steam turbines with double-body structure of high-pressure cylinder with moisture trap, and it can be used, for instance, in wet-steam turbines of different power output for nuclear power plants where effective removal of pellicular moisture is of vital importance. Proposed high-pressure cylinder of wet-steam turbine contains outer and inner bodies and moisture trap arranged in turnable channel formed by walls of bodies of high-pressure cylinders behind last stage of straight-flow compartment. Moisture trap is made in form of ring takeoff chamber at side of inner torus-like surface of outer body. Takeoff chamber is essentially ring space in outer body covered by ring lip secured on body and forming, together with torus-like surface of outer body, ring slot at takeoff inlet. Lip is installed to provide location of ring slot in upper half of turnable channel in direction of steam flow where coarse-dispersed moisture falls out. As a result, effective removal of pellicular moisture is provided in turnable channel after last stage of straight section of high-pressure cylinder which is formed at settling of coarse-dispersed moisture on torus-like surface of outer body of high-pressure cylinder.
