FIELD: emergency or stand- by power supplies for railway automatic-control systems. SUBSTANCE: power installation designed for feeding important loads requiring uninterrupted power supply has input feeders, synchronized no- break power supplies with storage batteries, and three feeder condition and switching checkup units. Checkup units provide for comprehensive serviceability check of feeders and for display of their present condition and trouble statistics. Switching units afford priority choice and switching of feeders with controllable change-over delay time. Three reconfiguration layers make it possible to select one of input feeders for feeding no-break power supplies; to maintain power supply in case of failure of all input feeders by changing over to storage batteries incorporated in no-break power supplies in no time; to choose one of stand-by nonbreak power supplies as working one; to connect one of no-break power supplies or one of output feeders to power installation output.
