FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: vacuum switching equipment intended for automatic switching, protection and reconfiguration of overhead power lines. For this, in particular, a lithium-titanate battery source is used, which has a significantly longer resource (up to 15,000 charge-discharge cycles), ensuring operation without replacement during the entire service life of a pole sectioning station (PSS-10), or similar in number charge-discharge cycles. In addition, the PSS-10 power management circuit includes a self-diagnosis and power unit for measuring and monitoring the state of the battery, which, among other things, monitors battery parameters, as well as switching on (off) and calculating the battery capacity and controlling battery charging, as well as transmitting this information through the communication module for data exchange with the dispatch center.
EFFECT: reliability, durability, observability and calculation of capacitive (power) characteristics of rechargeable batteries.
