FIELD: medical equipment; designed for continuous monitoring and measurement of percentage of content of carbon dioxide in patient's breathing mixture at inhalation and exhalation. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has deflector, radiator, measuring chamber whose inlet is connected with branch pipe supplying breathing mixture having at its inlet adapter connected by means of main line with moisture separator connected with the first inlet of pneumoregulator whose second inlet through carbon dioxide absorber is connected with atmosphere. Chamber outlet is connected with pump for taking of breathing mixture. Mounted behind chamber are optical interference filters. Located after said filters are the first and second receivers of optical radiation which are connected via preamplifiers to the first and second inputs of signal processing unit which is connected by means of bidirectional full bus with control unit. Apparatus also has power supply unit. EFFECT: higher accuracy of measurement, operating characteristics, and also stability and operate reliability. 3 dwg
