CHANGEABLE NOZZLE TO APPARATUS FOR GAS-FLAME TREATMENT OF METALS Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: gas-flame treatment of metals, possibly manual and automatic welding, soldering, cutting of metals. SUBSTANCE: changeable nozzle may be mounted in head of apparatus for gas-flame treatment and it has adapter with cone mixing chamber and rod with cone stem arranged in cone mixing chamber. Mixer is arranged concentrically on rod and it has openings for mixing gases and communicated with them openings for supplying fuel gas and oxygen for combustion. Openings for mixing gases are communicated with cone mixing chamber of adapter. Cone stem of rod is in the form of swirler with helical surface. Changeable nozzle for gas cutting includes rod with central duct for supplying oxygen. Changeable nozzle for straightening includes changeable tip in the form of sleeve having partition provided with through holes and expanded part of mixing chamber of adapter turned to side of changeable nozzle. EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability and safety of apparatus due to protection against kickbacks and explosion proofness, improved gas-dynamic parameters at maintenance, good repairability. 5 cl, 4 dwg
