FIELD: different branches of machine engineering, namely apparatuses for gas-flame treatment of metals such as gas welding torches.

SUBSTANCE: mixer of gas welding torch is arranged in head and it is joined with mouthpiece. Oxygen inlet opening of mixer is communicated with its mixing chamber through calibrated hole. Relation of diameter of calibrate hole to diameter of inlet opening of mixing chamber and to diameter of opening of outlet portion of stepped opening of mouthpiece is in range 1 : (1.6 - 3) : (1.63 - 2.8). Length of inlet opening of mixing chamber of mixer consists of 0.3 - 0.6 of total length of said chamber. Outlet opening of mixing chamber of mixer and portion of stepped opening of mouthpiece arranged in front of outlet portion are in the form of cones turned one to other by their bases and having apex angles equal respectively to 12° and 8 - 18°. Relation of length values of mouthpiece and outlet portion of stepped opening of mouthpiece is in range (35 - 47) : (2.5 - 6).

EFFECT: simplified maintenance and manufacture processes of apparatus, lowered metal consumption, improved safety, operational reliability, enhanced welding quality due to high quality of fuel mixture.
