FIELD: oil producing industry, particularly, compositions and methods for microbiological stimulation of oil pool. SUBSTANCE: composition in various versions includes hydrocarbon oxidizing bacteria, nutrient medium, water and complex additive in form of waste of grain-processing production, with the following amounts of components, wt.%: hydrocarbon-oxidizing bacteria 0.01-0.03; complex additive 0.1-0.3; nutrient medium 0.1-0.4; the balance, water; with addition of nonionic surfactant 0.01-0.05 wt.%: bakery yeast 0.01-0.05 wt.%, or without it, or without hydrocarbon-oxidizing bacteria. Method of oil pool development includes injection of composition through injection well with subsequent letting it stand, and withdrawal of oil through producing wells. Additionally injected into injection well is aqueous solution of nutrient medium. Composition and aqueous solution of nutrient medium are injected by cycles in successively alternating conditions.
