FLOWMETER OF RUNNING PRODUCTS Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: design of flowmeters of liquid and gaseous products. SUBSTANCE: flowmeter of running products has tangential channel, chamber in which turbine with blades is installed uniaxially with it, inlet and outlet branch pipes, signal pick-off unit. External radius of blades is found by formula and central circumference of blades crosses longitudinal axis of tangential channel in one point. Tangential channel is rectangular and is fitted with two adapters. Width of turbine is proportional to diameter of feeding pipe-line. Signal pick-off unit is equipped with multiplier and meter of volumetric flow rate determined by formula. EFFECT: increased measurement accuracy, widened functional potential and simplified design of flowmeter. 1 dwg
