FIELD: directional radio electron tracking systems. SUBSTANCE: method controlling inertial drive of antenna consists in formation of signal controlling antenna drive on basis of errors of target tracking by angular coordinates and their derivatives and with due account of corrections displaying present values of target bearing and its derivatives. Signal controlling antenna drive is adapted both to mode of presented process and to type of used antenna drive. On formation of different weights of tracking errors and corrections in signal controlling drive it will be possible to diminish insensitivity zone of even very inertial drive of antenna practically to zero and to secure high-precision, stable tracking of present-day supermaneuverable targets by direction without any change in design of drive of antenna.
