FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: working tool has curved knife and moldboard mounted in upper rear part of knife at acute angle to advancement direction. Knife is curved in transverse-longitudinal plane in the form of tape spiral coil part. Opposite sides of spiral acute angles have oblique inner sharpening and spaces between adjacent angle sides have outer sharpening. Moldboard is made flat. Additional moldboard-share is fixed under flat moldboard in parallel therewith, with space between moldboards being equal to 30-80 mm. Length of additional moldboard is 0.4-0.6 the length of main moldboard. Additional moldboard is positioned at an angle of 20-30 deg to horizontal plane. Such construction allows power consumption of plowing unit to be reduced by 30-40%. It may operate on water-logged soil having moisture content of up to 40%.
