FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with biological means for plant pests control. The suggested method deals with growing up fodder plants, application of aphids to obtain gall gnats eggs, raising gall gnats' larvae till development of cocoons. Seeds should be sown into trays with the mixture of turnings and peat at 1:3 ratio. Trays with aphid-bearing plants at 70-120 samples/plant are placed into breeding containers filled with gall gnats, quantity of females corresponds to 2.5-4 thousand samples. Raising of larvae up to the second age take place in those trays which then should be put onto tables with sand strip of 25- 30 cm width and 2-3 cm layer for pupating gall gnats' larvae. On tables larvae should be fed up by putting trays with fresh plants in couples so that plants could join each other and then they should be fixed together. Simultaneously with collecting gall gnats' cocoons out of sand it is necessary to additionally collect trays to remove their content consisting of plants and residual aphids and gall gnats at last stages of development for realization. This provides higher output of gall gnats' cocoons and waste-free type of production. EFFECT: higher efficiency of raising. 8 ex, 7 tbl
