FIELD: vehicular fire-fighting equipment. SUBSTANCE: system has standard fire- extinguishing device for fire extinguishing in manned compartment, auxiliary subsystem for fire extinguishing in motor-transmission compartment. Auxiliary subsystem comprises blast wave and fire-extinguishing composition sources, heat sensors and control unit. Blast wave sources and fire-extinguishing composition sprayers are actuated by signal generated by heat sensor and by control unit command with motor and fan continuing working. Thus, fire fighting in motor-transmission compartment is carried out by flame blowout and by applying of fire- extinguishing composition without tank stopping. EFFECT: simplified fire-extinguishing process, possibility of fire-fighting without tank stopping, that is without motor cutoff, possibility of serial military vehicles inexpensive modernizing. 2 cl, 1 dwg
