FIELD: hydraulic drives. SUBSTANCE: proposed method comes to displacement of feedback rod of digital-to-analog converter into extreme extended position, setting of output shaft with pistons to first stop, shifting of roller to end face of feedback rod of digital-to- analog converter, placing cam of feedback device on output shaft of drive opposite to feedback rod of digital-to-analog converter with minimum radius of its involute generatrix with provision of pulling in of feedback rod of digital-to-analogue converter in proves of turning of output shaft of drive from first stop, fixing of cam of feedback device on output shaft of drive, shifting of roller relative to feedback rod of digital-to-analogue converter to side of output shaft till contact with cam and subsequent displacement of stops of distributing spool at delivering of working liquid into drain main line and delivery main line to provide maximum speed of turning of drive output shaft. Delivery of working liquid into drain and delivery main lines with simultaneous supply of delivery pressure into each interpiston space of piston chain of digital-to-analog converter is carried out before shifting of roller relative to feedback rod of digital-to-analog converter towards output shaft till contact with cam having preliminarily set distributing spool in neutral position relative to sleeve in which throttling slots are closed. Having shifted the roller, shaft is set into rotation by changing delivery pressure to drain pressure in interpiston space of piston chain of digital-to-analog converter at complete compression of piston chain and stopping of output shaft, and output shaft is set to second stop providing designed angle of output shaft turning, after which distributing spool stops are shifted to provide maximum speed of turning of drive output shaft.
