FIELD: heat generators, stand-alone building heating systems, particularly for automatic heating systems using liquid or solid fuel. SUBSTANCE: device has heating channel, heater connected in by-pass with heating channel. By-pass inlet and outlet are made as connection pipes. Connection pipe area is less than channel area. Outlet connection pipe end is coaxial with channel and disposed below inlet connection pipe in flow direction. Inlet connection pipe axis is offset relative channel axis. EFFECT: providing of simultaneously operating in main mode with forced circulation and standby mode with gravity circulation; energy-saving; increased efficiency of heating system. 2 cl, 4 dwg
