FIELD: weaponry. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to military equipment, namely, to multibarrel pistols designed for underwater shooting and firing in the air to considerable distances. Multibarrel pistol has block containing four barrels and firing mechanism of self-cocking type comprising frame with cock, trigger carrying trigger lever with trigger cam. In accordance with invention pistol is fitted with second block comprising four barrels which is made physically integral with first block by common base. Firing mechanism is equipped with second frame with cock, second trigger lever with trigger cam. Each trigger lever is provided with additional tooth interacting in turn with one of two rows of ratchet sectors arranged in opposition and displaced through 180 degrees relative one another which are made on drum and comprise four teeth spaced by 45 degrees. Eight sockets interacting with spring-loaded plunger put on base are made in center of drum. Drum is provided with two safety surfaces arranged in opposition and coming in the form of semicircles preventing inertial pricking of cap by cock free at given moment.
