FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: top removal machine has frame with hitch for attachment to tractor. Frame rests upon supporting pneumatic wheels. Apparatus is further provided with working tools having vertical and horizontal rotation shafts. Three conical reducers are mounted on frame and coupled to one another through couplings. Working tools rotating in vertical plane and working tools rotating in horizontal plane are mounted on reducer shafts. Working tools rotating in vertical plane are equipped with working members made in the form of flexible rods. Working tools rotating in horizontal plane are equipped with knives arranged at an acute angle to said horizontal plane. EFFECT: improved completeness of top removal, reduced power consumption and decreased metal usage. 3 dwg
