FIELD: machine engineering, possibly grinding blanks of materials with high adhesion activity. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of acting upon working surface of rotating grinding disc by means of elastic tool; using abrasive block on base of elastic binder as elastic tool; acting upon working surface of grinding disc by means of abrasive block forced to it. Relation is given for determining maximum probable mean size of abrasive grains. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of working due to increased feed rate and increased period of keeping strength of grinding disc, lowered number of dressing operations at predetermined quality of ground parts. 2 dwg
