FIELD: machine engineering, possibly grinding blanks of viscous, plastic and adhesion-active materials.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of pressing cleaning tool in the form of elastic-binder abrasive bar to greasy surface of grinding wheel; removing metal of worked blank stuck to wheel grains spaced by different distance from arbitrary outer surface of wheel by means of abrasive grains of bar; determining pressing effort of abrasive bar with use of calculation formula according to shear stress at dispersing stuck metal by means of grains of bar, height of stuck metal, number of abrasive grains on surface unit of wheel, bluntness area of grains of wheel, height of working surface of wheel, total wear value of wheel grains and its shearing at dressing, greasing depth of wheel and so on.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of flawless grinding due to forced mode of working and(or) increased period of wheel strength, reduced number of dressing operations.
