FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: invention presents a method of production of multilayer organic glass based on methylmethacrylate, including deposition on the first layer of the polymer based on methylmethacrylate even one next following layer compatible with the first layer and made of monomers and/or polymers of the composition different from composition of the first layer. At that, as the first layer of the polymer they use the layer produced as the result of polymerization and/or a copolymerization of methylmethacrylate before conversion of 50%-98 %, and then they conduct additional polymerization in the layers before conversion, close to 100 %. It allows to make orientation up to more higher degrees without deterioration of operational characteristics. EFFECT: the method results in improvement of some properties of the final product, in particular, to increase the operational temperature and to decrease a shrinkage during heating higher than the glass-transition temperature; besides, the strength of the final product is increasing. 9 cl, 1 tbl
