FIELD: production of sheet polymeric materials.

SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a method and an installation for production of sheet polymeric materials. The method and installation may be used in production of sheet polymeric materials using upright located molds. The method includes preparation of a mold, loading of monomers and additives, polymerization at maintenance of a necessary temperature mode under conditions of heat exchange with the heat-carrier, extraction of sheets of the material from the molds. At that polymerization, at least till it reaches a gel effect, is conducted in a magnetic field of a direct current. The installation contains a block, consisting of the upright located molds formed by in parallel located heat-conducting plates with cavities for the heat - carrier passing, the molding substrates fixed on the plates and gaskets placed between pairs of the plates along the perimeter of the molding substrates, the locking means clamping the adjacent plates, strapping bars and the calibrating devices placed between the plates, a heating and cooling system. At that the heat-conducting plates are hollow, inside them there are the solenoids placed in the hermetically sealed pipes located in the cavities and used for the heat-carrier passing. The cavities are formed by partitions located in parallel to each other with windows alternating on the ends of partitions for pass of the heat-carrier. At that both plates and pipes are made out of a ferromagnetic material. The installation additionally contains a direct current power system with a control to regulate the direct current strength. The offered method and the installation ensure a raise of the physical-mechanical properties of produced sheet polymeric material due to production of the partially oriented polymer.

EFFECT: the invention ensures a raise of the physical-mechanical properties of produced sheet polymeric material.
