FIELD: paint and varnish industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nitrocellulose-base paint and varnish materials. Enamel comprises varnished colloxylin as film-forming agent, colophony glycerol ester, plasticizing agent, dry-rolled paste "SVP" based on pigment rolled with nitrocellulose, plasticizing agent and disperser; butyl acetate, toluene as solvent; ethyl alcohol, butyl alcohol as diluting agent. Enamel comprises additionally 25% solution of coagulum in toluene as film-forming agent that is a by-side product formed in preparing acrylic emulsion, it comprises additionally acetone as solvent and mixture of dibutyl phthalate with flotation agent oxal as plasticizing agent in the ratio = 30:70. Invention provides preparing enamel-base coating eliciting good covering power, sufficient strength of film, small drying time and resistance to atmosphere. Invention can be used for staining preliminary primed surfaces, wood surface of articles and equipment exploiting inside of compartments. EFFECT: improved and valuable properties of enamel. 2 tbl
