POWDER-TYPE ADDITIVE TO THE SEALING GREASES FOR THREADED CONNECTIONS AND THE SEALING GREASE (VERSIONS) Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: petrochemical industry, oil and gas industry. SUBSTANCE: invention presents the powder-type additive used for sealing of the threaded connections of pipe casing, lifting pipes, drill pipes and the equipment used at oil wells. The powder-type additive contains (in mass % ): 0.05-50 of the waste of the fluoroplastic production with particle sizes of 0.025 - 1.25 mm and the rest - the waste of polyethylene production or an intermediate product of polyethylene production with particle sizes 0.025 - 1.25 mm. The grease contains 12-30 mass % of the indicated additive and the rest - the waste oil or the high-viscosity petroleum or lubricant "УСсА". One of the versions is the grease containing (in mass % ): 1-15 of the indicated powder-type additive, 0.1-10 of waste oil and the rest - the waste of the cable production representing slimes of copper or aluminum drawing process. The greases may additionally contain calcium alkylphenolate dopant in amount of 1-2 mass % .
