FIELD: manufacture of filaments and films. SUBSTANCE: method involves producing complex by removing bound water from N-methylmorpholine-N-oxide hydrate and adding organic diluent until water and diluent content is 0.3-0.8 mol per 1 mol of N-methylmorpholine-N-oxide; placing natural silk into resultant complex and mixing at temperature of 85-125 C until complete solving of natural silk. Method allows solution suitable for manufacture of various articles, such as filaments and films, to be produced. EFFECT: increased efficiency and simplified method. 3 cl, 1 tbl, 4 ex
