FIELD: armament, applicable in antiaircraft troops. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in detection, automatic tracking of target by a tracking radar, mutual tracking of the optical sight and antenna of the tracking radar, laying and target tracking by the optical sight by angular co-ordinates, optical sight laying and tracking are effected by tracking of the speed change of the angular co-ordinates of the target tracked by the radar, to this end, the smoothness of the drive of laying and stabilization of the tracking radar antenna is enhanced, the speeds of change of the target angular co-ordinates are computed, and the tracking signals are generated according to them, the speed of change of the preset control signals is reduced, then the control signals are summed up with the tracking signals, and the summary signal is followed up by the optical sight laying and stabilization drive. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of optical sight laying on the target and reduced dependence of efficiency of the fighting vehicle from the level of the professional skill of the layer. 2 dwg
