FIELD: radio engineering; communication systems using pseudorandom frequency tuning. SUBSTANCE: proposed method depends on essential reduction of reference- signal clock frequency, comparison of results of post-filtration multiplication of input and reference signals, limiting, detection, and storage with first threshold at first time interval adjacent to moment of reference signal frequency variation and with second threshold at second time interval next to first one. Reference signal clock frequency equal to input signal clock frequency is set in case second threshold is exceeded at second time interval.
