FIELD: radio engineering; communication systems using pseudorandom operating frequency tuning. SUBSTANCE: method depends on increase in standing length of reference signal at each of N frequencies of its tuning program by (N + 1) times compared with radiation time of output signal at each of its frequencies. In this way provision is made for discriminating noise pulses from useful signal ones and for effectively suppressing them practically without distorting useful signal pulses. EFFECT: provision for eliminating false alarm and signal passage at narrow-band noise. 1 cl, 6 dwg
