FIELD: biometric equipment, in particular, devices for taking finger-prints. SUBSTANCE: the optical sensor has a photosensing element and a protective optically transparent element designed for protection of the photosensing element against the effect of static electricity. The protective optically transparent element is made in the form of a current-conducting fiber-optic plate with a surface electric resistance exceeding the resistance of the human skin. The method for production of a contact image consists in putting the finger on the contact surface of the dactyloscopic optical sensor, switching-on of the sensor, production and processing of the dactyloscopic image. Measured are the electrophysical parameters of the contact surface with the finger put on it and without it, the sensor is switched on at registration of a change of the measured electrophysical parameter exceeding the threshold value.
