FIELD: ferrous metallurgy; particularly production of hot metal in blast furnaces. SUBSTANCE: blast furnace tuyere consists of top ring, shell with water-cooled hollow and fuel supplying pipe running through them, outlet end of which is equipped with cylindrical checkerwork projecting to working channel of tuyere, with outlet hole made in the shape of slit with all-metal overhang, the flat surface of which is located toward blast flow under obtuse angle relative to tuyere axis, and has longitudinal grooves concentrically coming apart from checkerwork axis, at the same time in body of all-metal overhang inlet channels are made, each of them is connected with two distribution channels running into longitudinal grooves; one of the distribution channels is made over outside edge of checkerwork, another channel is provided in its middle portion, and diameter of channel arranged over outside edge of checkerwork makes up 1.2-2.0 of diameter of channel provided in middle portion of checkerwork, while the upper edge of slit is made with possibility of formation symmetric narrowing toward vertical axis, which makes up 0.3-0.9 of height of slit by side surface of checkerwork.
