FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: technical result of invention lies in implementation of power supply unit which assembly time and time of repair operations on live installation can be shortened. There is also provided possibility of its updating in various variants, fixed or detachable, separable or removable, with preservation of same height and width of installation. Power supply unit according to invention includes multipolar bus placed vertically and containing conducting strips of bus and mounting subassembly to support and connect electric device. Protective screen with holes is positioned on front edge of strips which have lengthened ends placed in parallel in vertical plane. Joining part with gripping contacts is located between protective screen to hook on corresponding phase strip of bus. Centering aid is implemented to position mounting subassembly on screen to level ends of conductors on strips of bus in direction perpendicular to joining part.
