FIELD: electrical engineering; miscellaneous servosystems. SUBSTANCE: electric drive control process depends on varying magnetic control field in proportion to difference between instruction and feedback signals; instruction signal is generated in proportion to current value sine of drive output shaft angle of turn; feedback signal is produced in proportion to actual angle-of-turn sine of output shaft; control signal is shaped as difference between them. Electric drive using this process has its output shaft angle-of-turn controller, output shaft angle-of-turn transducer, and control circuit incorporating subtraction unit whose output is connected through power amplifier to motor. Newly introduced in drive control circuit are two nonlinear converters; output shaft angle-of-turn controller is connected through first nonlinear converter to first input of subtraction unit and output shaft angle-of-turn transducer is connected through second nonlinear converter to second input of subtraction unit, sine transformers being used as first and second nonlinear converters.
