SHOE SOLE WITH DOWELS OR PINS Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

Abstract RU 2218851 C2

FIELD: shoe industry, in particular, manufacture of antiskid shoes. SUBSTANCE: shoe sole is provided with plurality of rigid dowels or pins arranged on face side contacting with ground. Dowels or pins are fixed on sole for moving from first open position for contacting with ground to second closed position for walking without destructing of surface, onto which shoe user steps. This is provided by combination of foldable dowel supporting devices positioned for turning over and channels or sole depressions for holding of supporting dowels of said devices. First and second channels of depressions in sole are arranged symmetrically with respect to one another to provide for adequate positioning of dowel supporting devices with dowels in first open position and in second closed position. Said devices do not extend beyond shoe sole. Shoe sole of such construction is preferably used in cold or mountainous regions with stable ice and snow cover. EFFECT: increased efficiency by providing required mechanical resistance of sole structure. 6 cl, 5 dwg
