FIELD: ink-jet printing, applicable in ink-jet printers and other printing devices. SUBSTANCE: the printer head has a carrier dielectric or conducting base with thermal locking, resisting and switching layer; successively positioned on it, dielectric and thermoconducting layers, formed in which are working microvolumes with a system of feeders and friction losses, the thermoconducting layer with the system of feeders, friction losses and the working microvolumes are closed by a flexible multi-layer membrane. The working microvolumes are filled with working fluid, and a nozzle plate, ink ducts and working microvolumes, that are filled with injected fluid are positioned over the flexible multi-layer membrane. Such a construction and combination of materials in the head structure provides for an enhanced heat transfer and accelerates cooling of the working fluid, which facilitates a high speed of response. EFFECT: enhanced maximum rate of generation of drops of injected fluid and improved characteristics of operation of the printing devices. 6 cl, 4 dwg
