FIELD: automotive industry; tire industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heavy vehicles. Proposed pneumatic tire contains radial-ply carcass reinforcement secured in each bead on at least one bead on at least one bead ring with formation of turn. Design peculiarity of tire is that carcass reinforcement in meridional section has meridional profile whose trajectory between point of maximum axial width of tire carcass and point of contact with circumference describing layer of protective coating of bead ring is convex over entire length being such that thickness of bead measured square to meridional profile in point located at height hs is 30-40 mm, and measured relative to bead base is from 2.5 to 3.0 of side strip measured on straight line of maximum axial width. Reinforcement of carcass is strengthened in its non-turned part by additional reinforcement formed by at least one layer of circumferential strengthening members located in axial direction inside from non-turned part.
