FIELD: transport engineering; electromechanical systems of vehicles. SUBSTANCE: proposed servodrive contains electric motor, transmitter of torque applied by driver to steering wheel, automobile speed transmitter and electric motor current sensor and regulator. Design peculiarity is that to improve quality of regulation and simplify circuit torque regulator is made in form of PID-controller whose gain factors depend on automobile speed and current regulator is relay-type on base of comparator whose hysteresis loop width is proportional to preset value of electric motor current.
