FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: determination comprises preparation of saturated aqueous solution of gypsum, bringing it in contact with solid phase of soil, and separating it for determining norm of gypsum from measured concentration of sodium. Preparation of gypsum solution is performed by infusion at 28-30 C until achieving concentration such that, when calcium is determined, 14.9+/-0.1 ml of 0.01 N Trilon B solution is consumed for titration. Contact of gypsum solution with solid phase of soil is effected during 2 h at 20-30 C. EFFECT: increased determination accuracy. 6 tbl
