FIELD: land reclamation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of reclamation and reclamation of alkaline soils, drilled cuttings and saline soils. Method determines dose of ameliorant-coagulator for alkaline soils along filtration. In glass tubes with a capacity of 250 ml, 40 grams of prepared alkaline soil mixed with increasing dosages of ameliorant are introduced at intervals of 0.2 g from 0.2 to 1.4 g per tube. Then each tube is filled with water to a volume of 100 ml, after 12 hours, the variant with the maximum amount of filtrate is determined. Dose of ameliorant is calculated by formula: A=h*V*B, where A is dose of ameliorant, t/ha; h is height of the ameliorated layer; V is density of the solonetz layer, g/cm3, B – amount of ameliorant, which provides the maximum threshold filtration of soil in the tube,% of the sample of soil in the tube.

EFFECT: method allows to speed up the determination of dose of ameliorant at the filtration threshold depending on dose of coagulantor.
