FIELD: sports facilities, in particular, equipment employed in sport events using gate and marked penalty ground. SUBSTANCE: method involves evaluating sportsman's technical skills during working out of blows aimed at gates by serving ball to gate sector provided with target and intended for blow. Each player delivers series of blows to targets for fixed time interval from seven characteristic points at penalty ground. Targets are made in the form of square frames having fixed height and adjustable width and arranged in pairs above ground in plane of gates under cross-member and at both sides of side bars. EFFECT: increased efficiency in evaluating of sportsman's technical skills and improved precision of blows targeted at weak spots of gate. 2 cl, 2 dwg
