FIELD: drilling and running of oil wells in which thermal methods of oil recovery from pools are employed. SUBSTANCE: plugging compound for steam-injection wells contains clinker, gypsum, quartz sand and slag. Slag includes basic slag and admixture. Plugging compound has following proportion of components, per cent by mass: clinker 25.0-40.0; gypsum 3.0-6.0; quartz sand 35.0-38.0; basic slag 20.0-22.0, admixture 2.0-9.0. Depending on geological and technical conditions plugging compound can carry regulator of technological properties in the form of solidification accelerator or retarder or water recovery reducer.
