FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed exhaust unit contains housing with inlet hole arranged around axle of turbine rotation, diffuser including axial and radial parts formed, respectively, by inner and outer duct walls arranged inside housing around axle of turbine rotation, deflector installed in housing, and outlet hole in outer wall of housing. Outlet duct wall of housing opposite to outlet hole is made in cross section with eccentricity relative to duct walls of diffuser and with increase in height of space around diffuser as approaching to outlet hole. Deflector is made in form of plate tilted relative to diffuser cut, duct surface of plate being directed along flow at diffuser cut. Deflector is connected to outer wall of housing forming space out of duct and is arranged opposite to outlet hole before outer wall of diffuser. Volume of duct space over deflector plate excluding volume of space out of duct in whole number of times. Space out of duct communicates with duct space through slot channels in place of mating of deflector plate and outer duct wall of diffuser.
